About Eagle Beach
Wide, soft white sand in front of the low-rise hotels, with the two fofoti trees everyone photographs. There is room even on busy days. Sea turtles nest here; marked nests are fenced off.
Good for: swimming. Facing: west-southwest; the beach faces away from the usual trade wind. From Oranjestad: about 10 minutes by car.
Facilities: Free shade huts (first come, first served), chair rentals from the hotels, a few food trucks and bars.
